- London Walks - Group of actors and Blue Badge Guides who offer a stunning selection of guided walks around London. Try one of the pub walks!

- Eastbourne, East Sussex - Guide to the town.
- This Is Kent and East Sussex - News and events in the two counties.

- National Rail Enquiries - Get the times of trains in England, Wales and Scotland.
- Airsafe.com - US based air safety site with stats by airline and plane type.
Mapping/Route Planning Sites
- Multimap - Get a street plan of anywhere in the UK, and some areas have aerial photographs too.
- Streetmap - Similar to Multimap but not quite so intuitive. However it sometimes loads quicker than Multimap over a dial-up connection.
- The RAC Site - The site features a UK journey planner which can e-mail the directions to you and a nice interactive map.
Search Engines
- All The Web - Search engine that tries for maximum coverage of the web.
- Altavista (UK) - UK version.
- Altavista (US) - US version of above.
- Ask.com - Previously known as Ask Jeeves. Understands questions and searches across other search engines - UK Version.
- Excite - UK Based site. More of a portal now.

- Euronews - ITN operated European news site (in several languages).
Web Technical
- Counterguide - Reviews of loads of free and hosted web counters.
- Statcounter.Com - The web counting service that I use now. Offers a wealth of information about which pages people visit on your sites and how they got there - search queries etc. The free version records data from the last 100 page impressions, but you can pay for longer data storage.
- TheCounter.Com - Web counter that I used to use but they are no longer free. However the Global Stats are very useful for assessing browser trends etc.
- A List Apart - Excellent site with articles about new and cutting edge web based techniques and technologies.
- W3Schools - Extensive learning resource for web developers. Covers all aspects of web technologies - HTML, javascript, CSS, ASP etc. A great primer with plenty of examples.
